FMC Getting Started Network Direction

Fmc Managed Device Backup. FMC Getting Started Network Direction When I go to System --> Tools --> Backup/Restore --> Managed Device Backup, I should see my two FTDs in the devices field but I dont In the Managed Devices field, select one or more managed devices

Previously, only 7000 and 8000 series devices supported backups, and you had to use the device's local GUI Here's an example taken from abd FMC 6.2.2 that manages one each FTD, ASA Friepower service module and 3D7125 appliance:

I am doing next: - Moving to menu : System---Tools---Backup/Restore - press: Managed Device Backup From the documentation here it can be read that "You cannot schedule device backups from the FMC", which it seems to confilct with the very backup forms available in the FMC itself: in the form for creating a scheduled task one can clearly chose between Backup Types "Management Center" and "Device", where you can select the devices For supported platforms, see Requirements for Backup and Restore

Cisco Firepower Management Centers (FMCs) Are Expensive! Which On.... Since the configuration is quite complex, and I would hate to have to do it all again from scratch, I figured that backing it up would be a good idea And the problem is I don't see my device in list of managed devices (please see attached file name No Devices)
